9 Salem renovation in Boston Globe Magazine

Suzy (pictured in the window seat) was a fantastic client, and we're both delighted with this spread in the Globe. More pictures of this project will appear on my new website, due to be live in December. Rest assured I'll let everyone know when that happens!

9 Salem to appear in Boston Globe Magazine

DHA's 9 Salem project in Newburyport, MA is slated to appear in the Boston Globe Magazine during the month of November.

This gut renovation to a small worker's cottage deploys contemporary interventions into the historic character of the original house that update the home, make it more energy efficient and more functional for this young family. A new attic dormer adds 600 sf of much-needed play space and a guest bedroom, while on the ground floor a large deck framed by a minimalist wood shade spills out of the kitchen/dining room, opening the house to southern light and providing an outdoor room for entertaining and play.

Images will be added to the DHA website as soon as they become available.
